Participation in International Congresses

University of Cantabria Showcases Advances in Hydrogen Research at Prestigious International Conferences.

The University of Cantabria (UC) has strengthened its presence in the global hydrogen research community through participation in two major international events this year.

In June, UC representatives attended the 24th World Hydrogen Energy Conference in Cancún, Mexico 🇲🇽. The conference offered a unique opportunity to explore advancements in green hydrogen technologies. The team presented several contributions, including an oral presentation titled “Hydrogen Storage Materials as Innovative Fillers for High-Performance Separation Membranes”.

In October, Prof. Alfredo Ortiz participated in the 8th International Symposium of Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (ESC-IS24) in Baku, Azerbaijan. He delivered a lecture titled “Hydrogen Purification through High-Performance Matrimid/LaNi5 Mixed Matrix Membranes”, emphasizing advancements in membrane technologies for efficient hydrogen purification.

These participations demonstrate UC’s dedication to cutting-edge research and its role in driving innovation in sustainable hydrogen solutions on a global scale.
